The Role
Are you passionate about leading a team of talented people, defining tools, technologies and processes to ensure the quality of the meaningful products that your team owns?
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the QA across the Engineering and Growth departments, align QAs on the strategy, vision and drive the QA to focus on the company’s and department’s OKRs
- Review, improve and standardize the QA process across departments in Vietnam
- Review and maintain the job leveling and competency matrix for QA engineers
- Support tests/verifications for the centralized projects, focus on the integration testing that verifies all components work well together
- Align releases of related products, collaborate QAs from the cross-team to provide E2E test service for the product releases
- Lead the QA chapter in Vietnam, work with all QA teams in the company to:
- Learn and share from each other about the QA techniques, processes, issues
- Collaborate on the development strategy for the automation test
- Create working groups to help support and refine our test principles, processes and methodologies
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Who You Are
- 8+ years of professional software development QA experience in both manual and automation testing
- 4+ years of management experience leading QA teams of at least 15 team members
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of English in both written and spoken
- Track record of managing, recruiting, and retaining strong QA engineering talents and growing effective teams
- Experience working with multi-functional, globally distributed teams to coordinate work and deliver solutions that span multiple teams. Sometimes you may be required to work in the evening to catch up with calls from North America and Europe.
- Experience working with engineering teams and managers, product managers, designers, data analysts, and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities, prioritize roadmaps, and solve problems
- Good experience in user experience
- Web and Mobile development testing experience
- Results-oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Familiar with Agile development methodology and common CI/CD practices
- A true team player with great interpersonal skills, communicate effectively in both internal and external teams
