Galaxy Education is a tech company in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, specialized in e-learning. We belong to Galaxy Entertainment & Education (Galaxy EE, the top media and entertainment corporation in Vietnam operating in 6 areas related to film and online study).

We were established recently with the vision to bring the best-quality and world-class digital education platform to the Vietnamese market.

Galaxy Education is current at the top 1 of digital education for grades 1 to 12 (hocmai.vn with more than 5M users) and are actively expanding to other product groups (e-learning mobile app for children and more).

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and build data pipelines to support data science/analytics projects following software engineering best practices

- Use state of the art technologies to acquire, ingest and transform big datasets (Data Lake, Event Streaming Ingestion/Processing, ...)

- Create and manage data environments in the cloud or on premise

- Have the opportunity to contribute to R&D and internal asset development projects

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Basic Qualifications

- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience

- Ability to write clean, maintainable and robust code in Python, Scala, Java or similar languages

- Experience with one in big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, etc

- Experience preparing data for analytics and following a data science workflow

- Familiarity with the latest OSS, cloud, container, query and database technologies as well as query languages

- Be able to use English (reading, writing)

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of distributed software engineering concepts and best practices

- Confirmed experience building data pipelines in production and ability to work across structured, semi-structured and unstructured data

- Self-motivated learner who keeps himself up-to-date with the current state of data techniques/ architectures
