Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and system architects to design and implement efficient and scalable PostgreSQL database solutions.
• Define database schema, tables, indexes, and relationships based on application requirements.
• Manage user access and permissions, ensuring proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and other tuning techniques.
• Investigate and resolve database-related issues, including performance problems, errors, and data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide support and guidance to development teams on database-related matters.
