- Create and maintain intelligent CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and resources provisioning, including Kafka topics, streaming pipelines, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Investigate, mitigate, and resolve incidents such as production outages or performance degradation, particularly around Kafka and Kubernetes on GCP and AWS.
- Draft post-mortems, identify and implement longer-run corrective actions.
- Liaise with the Security and Compliance teams to ensure their requirements are built into automated guardrails in our platforms and products.
- Experiment and roll out new cross-cutting technologies such as container clusters and service mesh, Kubernetes operators, modern stream processing platforms, secrets management, monitoring, and logging solutions.
- Manage and update disaster recovery scripts.

Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps practitioner with a proven track record of operating critical production services in cloud environments.
- Real passion for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation with a drive to explore and try new products.
- GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer certification or other equivalent GCP or AWS certification.
- Experience in creating and maintaining Terraform scripts.
- Experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Kafka, including cluster provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to support Microservices by creating infrastructure, resources, and pipelines on demand as planned by the Engineering team.
- Experience in setting up end-to-end monitoring for services with tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Good English communication and related skills.
- Experience in creating Bitbucket pipelines or similar CI/CD Pipelines.
- Expertise in Kubernetes.
- Proficient with GCP, GKE, AWS VPC, EC2, IAM, S3.
- Proficient with Helm and Bash scripting.
- Highly proficient with Linux Systems Administration and network fundamentals.
Nice to have:
- CKAD or CKAA certifications.
- Experience in working with Golang.
- Experience with Sonacloud, Sonatype, Akamai, and Datadog.
- Experience with IAC Tools, Monitoring, Scripting (Bash); IAM Permissions, Jinja Templating.
