Engineering Specialist - Automation & Controls

1. REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's degree in Automation Control Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, servicing, design, or installation of automation systems within automotive production lines.Technical Skills: • Strong foundational knowledge of electrical equipment, control devices, and sensors. (E.g. MCB, MCCB, Relay, VFD, Remote I/O, PLC, HMI, Valve, Robot, …) • Proficiency in programming Rockwell PLCs and Rockwell HMIs. • Experience with I/O devices communication via Ethernet IP. • Ability to read, understand, and modify electrical drawings. • Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing and design tasks.Language Skills: Good communication skills in English.2. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to program and understand C/C++. • Experience working with Kawasaki robots, Rockwell PLC and Rockwell HMI. • Familiar with North America & EU standards • Basic knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 5D, 8D, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). • Understanding of welding technologies used in automotive production lines, including but not limited to spot welding, laser welding, and MIG/MAG welding. • Basic knowledge of designing welding fixtures in Body Shop • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
