Responsible for monitoring the performance of devices, troubleshooting problems and responding to operational issues including, networking, systems configuration, systems patching, system backups, Microsoft 365 support etc.
1. .Network Operation Centre (NOC) - monitor and resolve issues
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors;
- Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports;
- Overseeing the safe installation of hardware systems;
- Serve as a NOC expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Infrastructure systems.
2. Level 2 Support
- Using KB, SOP, and basic troubleshooting to research and diagnose issues prior to passing to L3;
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and be available for after-hours support as needed.
3. Server Patching – primarily weekends
- Maintaining updates to operating systems (OS), third-party libraries, software, and applications;
- Identifying and fixing flaws in the software, releasing fixed packages, and verifying installation;
- Ensuring compliance and security updates.

Must have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Infrastructure Operations Engineer or similar roles;
- Foundational understanding of networking, including HP/Aruba with Palo Alto-SD-WAN at layers 1 and 2 and CCNA level;
- Experience in performing network maintenance, system upgrades, patches, security configurations, and equipment monitoring using SolarWinds or native cloud tools and problem diagnostics;
- Good understanding of application knowledge, deployment, CI/CD;
- Solid experience with Oracle, Ubuntu;
- Hands-on experience with Database Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and MySQL;
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux;
- Experience with public cloud (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud);
- Experience with server patching and level 2 support for large infrastructure;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Understanding/Knowledge of global security frameworks and standards like CGMP, HIPAA, CIS, NIST, FIPS
- Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL utilizing ServiceNow
- Experience in Systems Infrastructure management and monitoring for Global Healthcare Manufacturing Enterprise
