IT Business Analyst

Position Objective:

Business Analyst is responsible for shaping and developing requirements for VN school projects. In this role, you work across functions, countries and schools on various business needs, problems and initiatives, which technologies play pivotal roles in driving changes and enabling the solutions. 

You use problem solving techniques, such as design thinking techniques in defining real business needs, identifying root cause of business problems, generating insights and ideas to business problems, and using user stories and prototyping techniques to articulate business requirements.
You often act as coordinator in early phase of an initiative, developing high level plan and coordinating activities to bring the initiative forward. 

You may at times take on project manager role in some of the projects, leading from ideation stage to benefit realization stage.

• Analyze business needs and problems for key VN school initiatives.
• Facilitate insight generation, ideation, and solution prototyping activities for these initiatives using modern problem-solving techniques such as design thinking and customer journey.
• Shape, scope and develop business requirements in the form of user stories for key strategic global and Asia projects.
• Plan and run workshops in the above endeavors.
• Evaluate business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Effectively communicate the insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gather and prioritize critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
• Follow projects and monitor performance.
• Document all workflows and the results of the efforts.
