A bit more context:
Our architecture is simple: We have a bunch of backend processes running on batched processes to infer from models created by the data science team. We call it the Engine. The Engine is a combination of R and Python plus automation and it is all developed in-house.
The output from the Engine is stored in BigQuery (a very large dataset).
The UI is divided in two: The front-end in Vue and the Backend in Java. The UI queries data from BigQuery and displays it on a dashboard. It includes: payment, user management, login/authentication, data filtering and a data charts.
The two engineers needed at the moment are developers for the UI. Frontend and Backend
- Interview Process:
- Round 1: interview with customer representative in Vietnam about 15 mins
- Round 2 & 3: 2 rounds of interviews with client’s CTO and their team.
- Onboard ASAP
- Duration: 6+ month
- English: Fluent

- Kubernetes on GCP
- Need some GCP experience (we use all google cloud and firebase services)
- Also experience with integration of external API’s (example: payments through https://fastspring.com/, Twilio, Mailjet, etc)
_Additional points_
- Both will be working with a Devops Eng, a couple of Software Eng and a couple of Data scientists.
- Good command on English language is required to communicate with the rest of a globally distributed team
- Everything is running on GCP. Including the use of BigQuery, Postgres,
- Kubernetes, Authentication (Google Identity Manager), etc. Experience with GCP is a big plus
- Both roles will be reporting to a Sr software engineer/project manager
- Expect good working understanding of Git and Github
