ABOUT THE JOB
Our role is to manage the quality, consistency and reliability of metrics used to track progress on TEO strategy and performance. These metrics are reported to senior management, NAB Board and APRA, to demonstrate sustainable value creation within an effective risk framework.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain data models that provide insights into financial and operational performance.
- Create reports and dashboards that convey meaningful insights to key stakeholders.
- Craft compelling data-driven narratives to effectively communicate insights to decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business trends and opportunities.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, implementing data quality standards.
- Proactively identify and address data-related challenges or inconsistencies.
- Continuously improve data modelling, reporting, and data storytelling processes and best practices.

- 3 – 5 years’ governance, risk, and change experience, preferably with at least 2 years in banking and financial services
Must-have
- Exposure to banking (credit, collections etc) or technology (security, infrastructure, etc)
- Reporting: Co-ordination of performance and Board reporting used to track progress on TEO strategy, risk and performance.
- Board Metrics - Executive and Board Reporting of Performance Metrics (Manage submissions for Board, LT and Risk committees across all matters in scope for delivery including overall QA submitted papers and supporting documents);
- Performance Reporting (Quarterly Business Reviews, Scorecard) - Oversee the preparation of various operational reports to monitor the organization's performance and progress towards strategic goals.
- Insights: Assist stakeholders to generate valuable insights
- Governance: Maintain a framework that ensures the quality, consistency and reliability of metrics
- Optimisation: Lead and support the build of automated solutions
- Experience in people leadership (team of 5)
