Oversee and manage the entire procure-to-pay process within the organization to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.Lead a team of procurement and accounts payable professionals, ensuring high levels of performance and development.Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize spending and supplier management.Collaborate with various departments, including finance and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and operation of procurement and payment systems.Monitor the procurement system for compliance with contractual agreements and budgets.Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and handle issues and disputes.Prepare and present reports on procurement and payment activities to senior management.Ensure that the team adheres to financial policies and legislation.Essential SkillsExpertise in managing procurement cycles and understanding of best practices in procure-to-pay processes.Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of improving terms and reducing costs.Experience in implementing and optimizing procurement and financial systems.Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and across departments.Desirable SkillsFamiliarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.Experience with ERP systems, particularly those with strong PTP modules like SAP or Oracle.Advanced skills in data analysis and financial forecasting.Background in project management and change management.
