K-Startup Center (KSC), Hanoi is looking for a program director to overlook KSC operation around the region.
KSC acts as an overseas platform to offer guidance on Korean startups companies’ globalization, by supporting scale-up of the startups through product localization consulting, business development and support network developments within the startup ecosystem of the host country. KSC also has presence in Seattle, Singapore and Paris, making international hubs of innovation, and now tying to expand to Hanoi. KSC believes the new Hanoi office will play an important role in the entry of startups into the Southeast Asian market. KSC Hanoi is looking for a suitable candidate for following criteria and requirements.
Business planning and operation of KSC Hanoi:
- Establish a systematic operation plan to support globalization of startups and maximize KSC Haoni’s performance through efficient resource allocation.
Overseas marketing strategy planning:
- Support overseas market research, product analysis, product localization, overseas marketing strategy planning, and startup scale-up to facilitate the sales of products, goods, and services by Korean startups to overseas customers
Network development with overseas organizations:
- Build and develop networks to cooperate with relevant organizations and collect information on related policies, to support starting up a business or startups entering the host country.
Find and support key startups:
- Find startups with high marketability within the host country, strengthen management capabilities of startups (e.g., organizational management, financing, decision-making process), establishment of corporation/ investment/ M&A, arrangement of much needed mentoring with local startups

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or more
- Minimum 5 years of working/related experience in a start-up AC, venture capital, M&A, or start-up business.
- Minimum 2+ years living in Vietnam for the last 10 years
- Fluent in English in business environment
- Must be legally authorized to work within Vietnam
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of start-ups, with great insights on startup management system based upon on business life cycle, key management resources, industry trends, budget/financial/managerial accounting, and valuation, and business planning
- Offer guidance on related business environment analysis, key resource allocation, analysis of core values/assets/capabilities, budget management/calculation, social research methodology and report preparation
- Understating on overseas market, market strategy, product and market analysis, product planning, method and strategy for market entry, resource procurement, economic trend, market environment, FX rate of the host country, knowledge about related trade laws and work, business practices in the host country
- Statistical data search and analysis, business feasibility and product competitiveness analysis, target market and customer selection, speech, communication and presentation
- Business environment, SME support policies, political and economic trends, business practices in the host country, and understanding of cultural
- Negotiation, information analysis, foreign language, business etiquette, information analysis, and communication
- Understanding of startups, human resource management/financial management/production/logistics/marketing, and the startup ecosystem such as AC/VC/M&A/joint investment
- Corporate competency/external environment analysis, corporate strategy diagnosis and analysis, communication, knowledge about financing & investment business and bond market in the host country, and business model advancement.

Financial package:
- Monthly salary: USD 8,000 – 10,000 (Maximum USD 10,000 or equivalent amount)
* Monthly salary will be further determined based on qualifications and experiences
* Social insurance is paid according to state regulations
* Personal income tax, housing expenses, etc. are included
Period:
- One year with options to extend one year (after evaluation)
Working conditions:
- Working days per week: Monday – Friday (5 days)
