Programmer (PHP/ Python)

• Understand and gather requirements from users requirements for application system development.
• Maintain existing application systems and websites used by Straits Financial Group.
• Maintain alignment with Straits Financial Group IT policies and procedures.

PHP:

• Develop and maintain PHP dynamic websites based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain in-house enterprise applications like out of office system, CRM, etc using PHP on Laravel Framework.
• Design, setup, configure and maintain Databases using MySQL/Postgres or MS SQL for use with PHP web applications.
• Design UI/UX and develop interactive and dynamic websites based on business requirements.

Python:

• Understand existing processes and identify areas possible for automation.
• Working in US business hours based on Chicago time.
• Develop python scripts used for automating existing business processes.
• Involved in Digital Transformation project to improve the firm’s productivity.
