The Job in short
You will join a team of QA Engineers with a focus on best practices within the quality, test automation, and CI spaces, and work to ensure the organization is always running smoothly. These practices include metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measures.
Meet the job
- QA Engineers are a part of our Customer Success team and ensure we deliver quality solutions during the entire development cycle of the project and that the product is implemented successfully for our customers.
- Day-to-day you will be hands-on and meet with clients, test new features on different test levels (integration, system, functional, regression, exploratory testing), write and/or conduct test plans with schedules and dependencies, as well as carry out manual and automated tests.
- You are responsible for automated tests for frontend components of Backbase web solutions in addition to native/hybrid mobile apps with industry-standard testing tools and scripting languages.
- You will also produce defect metrics and report on the full QA process.
- As part of the Customer Success team, you will participate in defining internal QA goals such as the evaluation of new tools, setting up new processes for performance testing, and training new hires).
- Overall, you will need an understanding of business requirements and develop automated test scenarios and cases. Experience with carrying out performance testing is a plus.

- You have strong communication skills in English (spoken and written);
- You can act as a mediator between the business and technical teams;
- You understand continuous integration with an end to end automated testing on the web and mobile;
- You have experience in web and/or mobile (iOS and Android) test automation;
- You have knowledge of Playwright, Espresso or XCUITest
- You have knowledge of Java and JavaScript;
- You have experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions and GIT.
- You understand and have experience with Agile.
