We are seeking a highly skilled and young Senior QA QC/ Tester to join our dynamic tech product company (Kovena.com) in the fast-paced world of payment technology. The Senior QC Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our payment solutions, helping us maintain our industry-leading standards and deliver exceptional products to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Oversight
+ Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality control program for all payment products and services.
+ Create and execute quality assurance processes and methodologies to identify and address defects or issues throughout the product development life cycle.
- Have a mindset of Team Leadership
+ When the team is growing, you may lead and mentor a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving departmental goals.
+ Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer feedback, and support professional development within the team.
- Quality Control Strategy
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and product management, to define quality control strategies that align with business objectives.
+ Define, track, and report on key performance indicators related to product quality.
- Test Planning and Execution
+ Develop test plans, test cases, and testing methodologies to ensure the thorough evaluation of payment solutions.
+ Execute and oversee testing activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Issue Identification and Resolution
+ Identify, document, and prioritize defects, anomalies, and issues in products and services.
+ Work closely with development teams to track and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting
+ Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and issue resolutions.
+ Generate reports to communicate quality performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
- Process Improvement
+ Continuously evaluate and enhance quality control processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in payment solutions.

Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or software testing, with at least 3 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of payment technology and associated industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in quality control tools, test automation (like Cypress), and defect tracking systems.
- Have leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Business Analysis (BA) principles, including requirements gathering and documentation.
