Job Overview
The Mid QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing activities. This role focuses on requirement analysis, test execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver stable, user-friendly, and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing Strategy & Execution
Requirement Analysis & Test Planning
Analyze business requirements, product flows, and UX/UI specifications to identify testing scope and potential risks.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and testing checklists.
Ensure adequate test coverage for assigned features and platforms.
Web & Mobile Testing
Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications across different devices, operating systems, and browsers.
Execute regression, functional, UI/UX, responsive, and compatibility testing.
Validate APIs and system integrations using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
Verify application behavior, usability, and performance consistency between platforms.
Automation Testing
Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing efficiency.
Defect Tracking & Quality Improvement
Report, track, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Support root cause analysis and retesting after bug fixes.
Participate in release validation and post-release verification.
Suggest improvements to QA/QC processes and testing workflows.
2. Team Collaboration
Work closely with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily meetings, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.
Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks clearly and proactively.
Support knowledge sharing and collaboration within the QC team.
3. Continuous Learning & Improvement
Stay updated with testing tools, technologies, and QA best practices.
Continuously improve automation testing knowledge and testing efficiency.
Explore and utilize AI tools to support testing, documentation, and productivity.
4. Other Responsibilities
Support regression testing, maintenance testing, and production issue verification.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts (BA), Engineers, and QC teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

2. Product Collaboration
Work closely with Product Managers to understand business goals, user needs, and product requirements.

Continuously iterate on designs based on product feedback, user behavior, and testing results.
3. Design System & Quality
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company’s design system.
Ensure visual consistency across multiple products and platforms.
Improve design processes and propose new tools or workflows that increase efficiency.

Participate in product design planning and UX improvement initiatives.
