At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of Quality Assurance engineers. We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on experienced Manager to lead our QA team (mostly Automation) in our outsourcing product company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the QA team, provide leading and managing automation testing for Aperia’s products, ensuring that we meet our clients' expectations and deliver high-quality software output. The ideal candidate has a strong background in team leadership, performance management, and QA automation excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Spend 30% efforts for managing QA automation team and conduct the rest 70% time for working on test strategies, test plans & test execution of Aperia products.
- Track and monitor fixes and problems reported.
- Create automation scripts and optimization of those scripts.
- Develop automation test scripts, test conditions, performance, user acceptance, security, penetration testing.
- Documents test use scenarios and processes
- Train team on documentation of processes and scenarios
- Responsible for final test product deliverables
- Recommend new tools, techniques, methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
- Evaluate, select, and formulate the best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
- Support regression testing based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability.
Functional Responsibilities
- Respond appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
- Working with an Agile SDLC using Scrum, TDD/BDD, Git, Jira, etc.
- Work with the scrum team for resolution of technical issues of the product as needed.

Technical Skills
- Good at English communication (verbal and non-verbal)
- 5+ years of experience in management roles for leading automation teams located in different locations.
- 5+ years of experience as expert in:
- Automation frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, JMeter.
- UI and/or API level test automation.
- Web performance infrastructure (CDNs, caching, reverse-proxies), cloud resources (AWS, Azure).
- Proven experience in:
- Web service technologies: JSON, ReactJS, XML, REST, SOAP
- High volume, high throughput web environments
- High performance websites catering to millions of daily traffic.
- Testing and QA frameworks in Financial CRMs and Web Applications’ domain using Agile methodologies.
- Developing and executing test strategies, detailed test plans, test cases, test data and tangible quality measure.
- All test stages/levels and types (unit, component, system, integration, functional, reliability, availability, load, performance, business and operations acceptance.)
- Working on cross-department/locations by communicating and negotiating with multiple teams/locations to accomplish goals.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
- Good knowledge of:
- OOP concepts and experience in programming languages/frameworks such as Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, .Net/NodeJS
- Testing process, quality models, standards
- Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented, ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Strong leadership with ability to motivate engineers.
Things that will separate you from the rest
- Proven experience or strong knowledge in Playwright, and Azure Load Test
- Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning.
- Experience in working with global teams to lead QA initiatives.
