At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of Design. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead our design team in our outsourcing product company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the design team, ensuring that we meet our clients' expectations and deliver high-quality design output. The ideal candidate has a strong background in team leadership, performance management, and design excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of designers to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Manage performance and team development to ensure that the team is highly skilled and capable of delivering quality design output to our clients.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and administration of the design team.
- Manage resource allocation and design cost per jobs and projects.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for the company.
Functional Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of product design development, including planning, design, review, and testing.
- Leading design system maintenance and improvement.
- Manage the design processes that incorporate with agile methodologies.
- Manage the design output of the company to ensure that our products meet or exceed client expectations and deliver high-quality design output.

Technical Skills
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies, particularly design thinking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with design software such as Figma, InVision, Whimsical, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with managing a 10+ members team is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise product development is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in design management and team leadership.
Education or Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in design/art, engineering, or a related field.
