What you will be doing:
- Designing the next generation of mobile apps and other mobile interfaces across multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, and mobile web
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
- Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

What you must have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals
- You have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or a related field
- You have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, etc.
- Strong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
- Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts and palate development.
- Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
- Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design.
Nice to have
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products
- Strong proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Experience with interaction design and information architecture;
- Experience in retail technology, payments, and omnichannel commerce tech
- Able to take on leadership role and support and manage other UI/UX designers
