Glohow is a global game business partner who is dedicated to shining a spotlight on various contents and bringing their businesses to a global level.4. We established in December 2016 and became a subsidiary of Kakao Games in 2019.
Currently we’re expanding our business and seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team. Kindly cherish and value your individuality and ideas, your colors will glow and shine through our globalized mindset and workflow.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend of in-house systems to help scale the company.
- Collaborate closely with design, product management, business, and technical counterparts.
- Create unit tests and maintain codebase.
- Debug complex problems, performance bottlenecks, scale issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues across the stack, e.g. a stuck job in a message queue, a bug in our recipient suggestions service.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of Backend-End Development and Web Development skills.
- At least 2 years in Java + SpringFramework development.
- Experience with HTTP/RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming.
- A passion for clean and quality code over fast and functional.
- Experience with RDBMS + NOSQL.
- Excellent experience with Spring framework with a strong understanding of Spring Modules (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring OAuth2 Spring AOP, Spring Cloud).
- Experience with CMS systems development which applies microservices architectures.
- Experience with synchronous and asynchronous technologies.
- Experience with design patterns.
- Able to use docker for different environments.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Ability to collaborate effectively using the English language with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and testing automation.
- Experience with various server side programming: Nodejs, Python, Go, PHP.
- Help with DevOps and rolling out systems across multiple regions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
