About the role
Sunbytes is seeking a Java Developer for our client in Ho Chi Minh City. Our client in Vietnam collaborates with the Netherlands team to deliver innovative software solutions within the fintech industry.
As a Java Developer, you are expected to possess exceptional written and spoken English skills to communicate directly with our client team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our client Fintech loan application portals that enables entrepreneurs, either individually or in collaboration with an intermediary, to apply for various types of loans, including business credit or company mortgages. At present, we are actively working on rolling out the product as a multi-tenant, cloud-based solution.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based application.
- Work inside a cross-functional team to define and implement software solutions.
- Work together with both teams in Vietnam and The Netherlands
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and best practices.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Must have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL and database interaction.
- Good verbal and written English skills for collaboration with international teams
Nice to have skills:
- It’s a plus if you also have knowledge of Angular or ReactJS.
- Experience with JAVA EE, including a solid understanding of Java EE technologies such as EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans) and JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services).
- Proficiency with Document databases such as MongoDB.
- Agile and Scrum development methodologies exposure.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, OpenShift).
- CI/CD pipeline familiarity.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
