As a Lead Dev, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise to a team of software developers. You will have a key role in driving the direction of our development approaches and the implementation of complex software solutions. The Dev Lead will work closely with the Tech Director and all other team members to deliver high-quality products.
- Projects range from websites > apps > business systems and much more
- Take the lead of the technical approach of a project, collaborating with management in Australia and leading other senior developers in Vietnam
- Help with project scoping from tech analysis, project specifications, undertaking source code reviews etc.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and break down high-level tasks into actionable points for the dev team
- Decide which technologies are to be used in the project and define overall architecture
- Be willing to learn new tech, languages, and approaches so that you're able to adapt to the requirements of the project
- Be technically responsible for the outcome of projects
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions
- Mentor and assist others within our close-knit team

Backend (Open to Fullstack):
- Minimum of 10 years experience as a developer (required)
- At least 7 years experience for a back-end language like PHP or .Net (required)
- At least 5 years experience with front-end development (required)
- Development Team Leader experience at least 2 years
- Experience in app development is a bonus
- Can undertake code-reviews of existing builds
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Desire to help build a small but growing team

Although we have a remote setup, you will have constant communication with the team, with all the support you need to make sure that you can kick goals and deliver projects on time and as expected.

- Work week is Mon-Fri, 8 hours + 1 hour lunch break (usually 7am - 4pm locally). Rarely need to work overtime or on weekends.
