Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) - Urgent

Position Overview:The Senior DevOps Engineer is a crucial role in our technology team, responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps methodologies and extensive experience with a range of core and other technologies.

Core Technologies:

• Pulumi
• Azure Pipelines
• Kubernetes (AKS)
• Helm
• Azure
• SQL Clusters

Other Technologies:

• AWS
• TerraForm
• PowerShell/Bash

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Development and Updates:

• Lead the creation and updating of infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) first approach.
• Expertise in Pulumi and familiarity with TerraForm are essential.

2. Collaboration with Development Teams:

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that both the application and its supporting infrastructure are functioning optimally.
• Play an active role in solution architecture discussions.

3. Deployment Architectures and Infrastructure Solutions:

• Contribute to and create deployment architectures and infrastructure solutions for new projects, primarily focusing on Azure, with occasional AWS projects.
• Deep understanding of Azure Pipelines and Kubernetes (AKS) is required.

4. Infrastructure Maintenance:

• Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of existing infrastructure, employing various strategies and best practices.
• Proficiency in managing SQL Clusters and utilizing Helm for package management is necessary.

5. Contribution to Company’s Technology Core:

• Make contributions to the company's technology core, especially in Azure Pipelines and Pulumi IaC libraries using C#.

6. Support to Development Teams:

• Provide comprehensive support to development teams for all infrastructure-related tasks, ensuring seamless deployment and operational processes.

7. Support to Operations Teams:

• Assist operations teams with troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong skills in PowerShell/Bash scripting are advantageous.
