Job Description: 

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Perform functional testing, and regression testing and keep track of all the new developments.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing for new features, improving the test coverage by including the most relevant end-to-end user scenarios in test plans and automation.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Contribute ideas to fulfill the product & services.

We are looking for Senior Backend Java Software Engineers responsible for building backend services; Restful, AKKA, gRPC, events sourcing (Kafka) based on Micro-service Architecture and integrating with banking systems. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and integrations. Your primary responsibilities will be in the design and development of these applications, mentorship of mid-developers, and coordination with the rest of the team working on different roles: QC/QA, Test Automation, Product Owner. Thus, a commitment for collaboration on problem-solving, architecture design, TDD, BDD and product quality is highly valued.

To be successful in this role you should be able to identify the requirements/User Stories to define tasks including non-functional requirements and to work with cross-functional teams delivering expected products. Ultimately, you’ll help us roll out products that deliver our company’s vision and help in creating, enterprise-grade, communication solutions.

• Citics is a technology platform which provides different stakeholders in real estate-banking ecosystem (i.e. buyers, sellers, banks, sales agents) with real-time, transparent, reliable information for them to transact more effectively and efficiently. C-Value is the first tech-based service offered by Citics and is gaining popularity in Vietnam banking system. It helps Citics to become a pioneer in property valuation with big data analysis. Citics also plans to leverage our proprietary database to provide tech-based brokerage services in Vietnam in the immediate future.

• Design and develop mobile applications for iOS (Swift or Objective-C) or Android (Java).
• Analyse, design, program, test, document and maintain mobile applications.
• Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues.
• Keep abreast of technological advancement on mobile development methodologies that may affect decisions on systems building or enhancements.
• Experience with Java, Android SDK, iOS SDK, frameworks or tools to create mobile web, native or hybrid apps for iOS/Android devices.

MANAGEMENT 

• Monitor and adjust the process to suit the actual situation;

• Evaluate and define KPIs to monitor and manage data quality
• Tuning and improving the performance of DB/DWH.
• Support data scientists, data analyst to explore data in Data warehouse.
• Build and maintain integration data flow provided to other departments.
• Maintain update-to-date documentation of data catalog, ETL flows, data dictionary.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Participate in end-to-end engineering solutions with regard to data processing and data delivery and integration, including data processing job/pipeline tool suite, batch framework and platform, micro-service framework and platform.
• Work closely with customers to identify improvements in existing processes and new processes that bring meaningful and actionable insight to the underlying data.

• Data Infrastructure is at the core of data-driven culture. The Data Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the platforms and frameworks which drive the data ecosystem. Some of these systems include: data pipelines (ingestion), the Spark ecosystem and other derived data creation frameworks, the company-wide data lake, query execution systems (Presto/Trino)
• Model several streams of data into different storage formats like parquet to enable different statistical calculations.
• Work together with product teams (application, BI, DS,...), enabling them to make the most out of their data.

• Interact with team members and other groups to ensure all requirements have been tested, defects have been documented, and quality issues identified during the testing process have been resolved.
• Create and maintain test documentation such as test cases, defect reports and test result summaries.
• Communicate product and process information to other members of the team, other departments, and customers as necessary.
