Umbraco is looking for .NET developers in Hanoi, Vietnam to join and grow the DXP team within Umbraco’s software development department.
Whilst the heart of Umbraco is its open-source CMS, it’s supported by a number of other revenue generating activities, including the commercial products: Umbraco Forms, Umbraco Deploy and Umbraco Workflow. These are the responsibilities of the DXP team within Umbraco.
As well as these major products, we build, release and support integrations to Umbraco with third party SaaS providers.
Finally, we also work on aspects relating to the commercial and open-source package (extensions) ecosystem, such as the Umbraco Marketplace, licensing solutions and community projects.

What will you do?
The purpose of the role is to strengthen the DXP team, with a primary focus on the commercial products. We look to maintain a steady cadence of releasing new features for these Umbraco extensions, ensuring compatibility with the latest versions of the CMS, and of course speedy responses and resolutions to any issues reported by customers.
What you will be working on:
- Investigating and resolving customer reported issues.
- Development of new product features.
- Handling upgrades of dependencies, particular to the CMS itself.
- Expanding our suite of automated tests.
- Managing releases of new versions of the products.
Outside of the commercial products you may also be asked to be involved with:
- Building, supporting and maintaining our suite of SaaS integrations.
- Development work on supporting initiatives such as the Umbraco Marketplace.

What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of experience with C# / ASP.NET / .NET Core
- Familiarity with working in distributed teams
- A high level of written and spoken English
Plus points for:
- Full-stack skills (i.e. front-end development with JavaScript)
- Experience with Umbraco CMS
- Experience with Azure
On top of the technical skills, we’re looking for someone who is also user-focused and will collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
