To manage and support users (hardware/software):
Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
Provide first level support to requesters e.g. answering via support channel, incident management, phone etc.,
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with access issues
Daily monitor incident management system, classify and modify all incidents in compliant with IT standards
Handle incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
Follow up with the system development team on various systems issues
Provide weekly incident reports to the department headTo manage IT assets (including regular maintenance and repairing):
Keep IT asset management up-to-date with precise data
Keep storage neatly and well-organized
Manage desktop, laptop, and mobile device in stock, software application licensing
Make sure availability of backup equipment
Conduct internal audit and support Finance in bi-annual hardware and licence audit
Manage electric devices, power supplier, UPS etc.,
Make sure software is up-to-date with the latest version
Manage mobile device and cell phone telecommunications including provisioning, assigning, managing, cell phone contracts, and phone numbers and subscription
Deal with vendors for warranty, maintenance and repairs of all hardware, software, and services employed by the network and its applications
Deploy improvements and fixes to the network and applications infrastructureTo purchase IT assets:
Deal with vendors for purchasing all hardware, software, and services employed by the network and its applications
Support Finance in preparation of contracts and collect quotations
Prepare purchasing requests for IT-related equipment & software
Receive and register new equipment from vendors
Provide monthly reports on new IT assets to department head and Finance
